Attorney Jessica Dean has a wealth of experience in estate planning and elder law. She is a partner at the firm, Dean Omar Branham Shirley, handling both probate and trusts cases. Jessica’s practice focuses on 

-preparing wills, 

-living wills, 

-power of attorney documents for adults and minors under 18 years old (including guardianships), 

-health care directives such as durable powers of attorney for health care decisions and

 -medical wishes forms which are also known as do-not-resuscitate orders or DNRs;

– drafting trust agreements; 

-assisting clients with Medicaid eligibility evaluations; 

-representing clients in guardianship proceedings and other related matters.

 To become an attorney Jessica graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Law cum laude in 1998. After graduation, she clerked for the Honorable Maurice A. Cox of the Ohio Court of Appeals, Eighth Appellate District. Jessica is a Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association member and is admitted to practice law in Ohio and before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
